In Memory

I wrote this the evening our precious grandmother passed away.  It's been one month and it seems that it only gets worse, the hurt that our Nanny is no longer with us.  Waves of sadness wash over me; how many times can I express how much I miss you...

You touched the lives of so many with your nurturing kindness and love.

You lived a simple, yet rich life; a full and happy life.

You gave of yourself so selflessly.  You showed strength and perseverance in times of turmoil.  

You were an angel sent to live among us.

But alas, He needs you once again and so you departed this earthly life.

We must console our hearts knowing you are with our Father.  

We miss you greatly, and love you - ALWAYS.
