Wow, second day in a row I cooked AND baked (and posted).  Yes, it's quite a feat for me, since there are still leftovers in the fridge.  Hmmm, I wonder what's going on with me?

Today I decided to make a low key dinner - Squash and lentils soup, and we have some nice crusty sourdough bread as an accompaniment.  That's a piece of red onion you see, that's a favourite of DH.






As for the baking part - I had to try out my new mixer - I love it.  I decided to make a Coconut Cake by Ina Garten.
