Seen and Heard

Saw a couple of odd things the other day while out and about in the city.  I saw a rather young guy with vampire fangs, and a somewhat middle-aged woman with such huge lips that one pin prick and they may burst.

I have only seen these things on television, never in real life.

At the playground yesterday:  A little girl's popsicle fell to the ground, she hardly had a chance to really enjoy it.  The woman with the little girl ( I couldn't really tell if it was her mother), picks up the popsicle, inspects it, then says to the little girl, "come, I will tell you where to eat."

Another little girl, this one was older, must have been 5 or 6 years of age. She comes running with her mother to the wrought iron fence.  The mother opens up a scarf, holds it around the little girl to shield her.   Mind you, the playground was very busy, lots of children - boys and girls - some with their parents, some with babysitters.  The area by the fence was in no way a secluded area.  I understand that the little girl could not hold it, but this is a girl, why couldn't they run in the other direction out of the playground behind a tree?  At least there she would have had some semblance of privacy.
